The 34-year-old Brazilian supermodel confirms previous rumors that she's going to retire from her runway modeling gig in April, and posts a bikini photo of her along with a sweet message to her fans.

AceShowbiz - Gisele Bundchen is going to retire from the runway after her final walk at Colcci show on April 20 in Sao Paulo Fashion Week. Her sister and representative Patricia Bundchen announced the news on Wednesday, March 18.

Patricia said in a statement, "Gisele will focus on special projects and also spending more time on her number one priority: her family. She is already cutting back on catwalk appearances and will bid adieu to shows in her own country during the Colcci brand presentation at Sao Paulo Fashion Week."

Following the announcement, Gisele took to Instagram to thank her fans. The wife of Tom Brady posted a photo of her dancing on the beach wearing a tiny white bikini. She was accompanied by her two dogs which lay on the heart drawn in the sand with the word "GRATEFUL" inscribed inside.

She captioned it, "Thank you to all my dear fans who dedicate your time to leave a message here. Thank you for all the love. A kiss in your heart and have a beautiful day!!!!"

According to Forbes, Gisele's catwalk retirement won't affect her earnings as most of her income comes from endorsement deals and lucrative advertising campaigns for H&M, Chanel, Carolina Herera, Pantene and Oral-B among others.
