AceShowbiz - After announcing the official title and release date of his new album "To Pimp a Butterfly", Kendrick Lamar has shared its official tracklist. Arriving on Thursday, March 12 via Universal Music Group, the parent company to the rapper's label Interscope Records, the list features 16 tracks including the previously-confirmed "The Blacker the Berry".
Another song that fans have heard from the project is "i". First debuted back in September, it received critical acclaim and went on to win Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at the Grammys last month.
Serving as the follow-up to 2012's "good kid, m.A.A.d City", "To Pimp a Butterfly" is now available for pre-order before coming out on March 23. Other details like the producers and featuring artists who have worked with Lamar on the forthcoming LP are still kept under wraps.
"You take a black kid out of Compton and put him in the limelight, and you find answers about yourself you never knew you were searching for," K-Dot has said of the new album. "There's some stuff in there, man. It's a roller coaster. It builds."
