Tinashe takes viewers to a desert in the music video for her "Bated Breath". Arriving online on Wedneday, March 4, the nearly-nine-minute clip directed by Stephen Garnett centers on the R&B singer as she runs alone through the Mojave Desert in army gear.

In an interview with W, Tinashe revealed that the video was "pretty DIY." She said she decided to shoot the clip on her own right after she found out her label didn't want to finance it. "I don't like to sit around waiting for people to do things for me," she explained.

She added, "So when I know my label's not going to produce music videos, I'll either make them myself or I'll find people that I think are cool and reach out to them directly. I'm like, 'F**k it. I'll just do it.' "

"Bated Breath" is a song off Tinashe's debut album "Aquarius" that came out last October. To support the LP, the 22-year-old entertainer will join Iggy Azalea on "The Great Escape" tour that opens next month.
