Dying Ben Kingsley Takes Over Ryan Reynolds' Body in 'Selfless' Trailer

The trailer shows how Kingsley's character takes over the healthier body of Reynolds only to be dismayed when he finds out in the end how his new body has been acquired.

AceShowbiz - The first trailer for the upcoming science fiction thriller flick "Selfless" has been debuted. The feature, which is planned for July 31, 2015 release date, tells the story of "a wealthy older man who discovers he's dying and pays to have his mind transplanted into a younger man's body. When he discovers how his new body was acquired, he defies the company that provided it and is hunted by mercenaries."

In the trailer, Matthew Goode's character is seen provoking Ben Kingsley's Damian by telling him, "We offer humanity's greatest minds more time to fulfill their potential...designed to offer you the very best of the human experience." And when Damian starts to learn the truth about the research organization where his new body (Ryan Reynolds) comes from, Goode cryptically states, "Immortality has some side effects. There is no progress without sacrifice."

"Selfless" is based on a script written by screenwriter brothers Alex and David Pastor. Tarsem Singh is the on-board director. In addition to Kingsley, Reynolds, and Goode, the film stars the likes of Michelle Dockery, Natalie Martinez, Victor Garber, and Sam Page.
