AceShowbiz - ABC has found its "Uncle Buck" in Mike Epps and the network thus signed him to star in its upcoming comedy feature as the lead male Buck Russell. His character was described as a "lovable dreamer and Will's older brother who essentially raised him as a child."
Joining Epps on the cast ensemble was actress Nia Long who will be portraying "Will's wife Alexis, the founder of her own nonprofit that mentors at-risk girls", The Hollywood Reporter reported. While no other cast have been named, it has been confirmed that Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley will pen the pilot with Will Packer serving as executive producer.
