Blake Lively's husband tells Jimmy Fallon that his daughter is either 'allergic to sleep' or trying to protect her parents from 'sleep monsters.'

Ryan Reynolds gushed over his 9-week-old daughter with his wife Blake Lively in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Monday, March 2. "It's exciting, nine weeks now! I do everything [for her]," Ryan told Jimmy.
The "Green Lantern" actor then shared, "Our baby in particular is, we think, allergic to sleep." Jimmy laughed and responded, "I don't think that's possible." Ryan shared, "We think that she thinks she's protecting us from the sleep monsters. Like, 'Oh, I've got to keep them up or the sleep monsters will get them.' " Jimmy then joked, "No, babies don't care about you."
Ryan added, "The trick I try to use is that Baby Einstein stuff, but for me, that's like horse tranquilizer. I could go down on a lit stove. You could push me out of an airplane. And that's the weirdest dreams in the world."
Ryan and Blake welcomed their first daughter just before the New Year. A source told Us Weekly at that time, "The baby came early but everyone is happy and healthy. The Bedford house is all prepared. They're going to stay up there for the baby's first days." They have since kept mum about their baby's name.
