Movie

Sly reportedly had to break a fight between actor/boxer Tony Bellew and his co-star on the set of the new 'Rocky' movie.

Rumor has it, there was a fight on the set of "Creed" which wasn't part of the scene. TMZ reported that boxer/actor Tony Bellew, who plays a character named Pretty Ricky, was involved in a real brawl with another actor who plays his corner coach in the film. Bellew suddenly jumped out of the ring while filming a scene and began punching the other guy.

Sylvester Stallone, star of the original "Rocky" movie and producer of the upcoming spin-off, and some other crew members reportedly had to jump in and separate the fighting men. Security allegedly threw everyone out of the set while the police were called.

It's not clear what prompted the fight, but a rep for the studio behind the movie tells TMZ that there wasn't any physical fight on the set. So-called witnesses, however, insist that the brawl indeed took place.

A source close to Stallone, meanwhile, tells Gossip Cop that the actor "was not in the vicinity" when the fight erupted.

"Creed", directed by Ryan Coogler, centers on Michael B. Jordan's Adonis Johnson, the son of world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who tracks Rocky Balboa down and asks him to be his trainer. In addition to serving as producer, Sylvester Stallone will reprise his role as Rocky in the upcoming spin-off.
