After apologizing and admitting he used to dislike Mars, the rapper asks the 'Treasure' singer to sing the hook on one of his songs.

AceShowbiz - Nearly three weeks after he almost crashed Beck's acceptance speech at the Grammys, Kanye West wants the world to know he's deeply sorry. On Thursday, February 26, the rapper unexpectedly took to Twitter to apologize to the multi-instrumentalist as well as Bruno Mars.

"I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I'm sorry Beck," he wrote in one tweet. In another post, he apologized to Mars because he used to dislike the "Treasure" hitmaker, saying, "I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist."

West even publicly asked Mars to work on a track with him. "I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Keys / Puff and I produced," he continued and added that he had asked Tyler, the Creator to direct the music video for the song.

West almost recreated the incident at the 2009 MTV VMAs involving Taylor Swift at the Grammys earlier this month. At that time, he suddenly jumped on the stage after Beck's "Morning Phase" was announced as the winner in the coveted Album of the Year category.

In an interview on Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" last week, he said he'd been planning to call Beck to apologize, but he kept forgetting.
