VH1 star Ahmed Givens died Saturday, February 21 after battling with colon cancer. The "Real Chance of Love" star reportedly had trouble with vision and speech on Friday night before passing away hours later. He was 33.
He underwent surgery in 2013 after he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. He began chemotherapy treatments this year when the cancer returned, but his condition reportedly got worse after he took a fall in January.
Ahmed Givens a.k.a. Real starred on VH1's dating show, a spinoff of the network's "I Love New York", with his brother Kamal Givens a.k.a. Chance. It premiered in 2008 and got a second season called "Real & Chance: The Legend Hunters".
"(Bye) to my favorite guy in this whole world be in peace we love you forever bro I'll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God's (kingdom) forever and ever bro words can't describe my pain world pray for me!" Kamal captioned an Instagram picture of his teary self.
