The ladies raise more than $430,000 from 4,201 supporters at the end of the Kickstarter campaign launched last month to fund their fifth and final album.

AceShowbiz - TLC's Kickstarter has ended. The campaign which was launched late last month to fund what the group's surviving members planned to be their final album successfully finished on Thursday, February 20, raising $430,000 from 4,201 supporters.

TLC's Tionne Watkins a.k.a. "T-Boz" and Rozonda Thomas a.k.a. "Chilli" originally hoped to raise $150,000 in 30 days. However, they surpassed the goal in only three days thanks to excited fans that included Katy Perry who donated $5,000 and New Kids On The Block who contributed $20,000.

"Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who donated to our campaign!! Xx We are thrilled to have so much love and support from fans! It means so much!" they wrote on Twitter last January.

The new TLC album marks their first set of new material since 2002's "3D". For it, the group has hired Dallas Austin who previously worked with them on their hits like "Aint 2 Proud 2 Beg", "Creep" and "Unpretty". Ne-Yo is also expected to make contributions. Ron Fair has signed on as an executive producer of the project.

"Our final album will stay true to the TLC sound, always confronting the real issues and life experiences that we all must face every single day, everywhere," T-Boz and Chilli have told fans. "Of course, Lisa's spirit will always be present in our music. That will never change."

Starting on May 1, TLC will join New Kids On The Block and Nelly on "The Main Event" tour. The first show takes place in Las Vegas' Mandala Bay Events Center.
