Afroman has been forced to cancel several shows in the wake of his arrest for punching a female fan during a recent live show. According to a new TMZ report, some venues where the rapper was supposed to perform at took violence against women seriously and they subsequently decided not to welcome him.

The site said that Afroman had 7 dates scheduled in the coming weeks, but three of them have already been axed. One of the canceled gigs was set to take place at Ziggy's by the Sea in Wilmington, NC. The organizer argued that they'd have a very Christian audience that wouldn't tolerate the "Because I Got High" hitmaker's action at his Tuesday, February 17 concert in Biloxi, MS.

Park Street Saloon in Hilliard, OH was another venue to have canceled Afroman's show. They told TMZ that they made the decision just "two minutes" after watching the video of the incident.

Afroman was performing for the Biloxi crowd when a female fan jumped onto the stage and danced behind him. He then landed a punch on the lady's face and continued his performance while the victim got up on her own and left the stage. Police were later called to the scene and Afroman was arrested before being released on a $330 bond.

Following the incident, Afroman apologized for the whole thing and said he's going to get help for his anger issues.
