Friedle has been taped to voice the Star-Lord, whereas Sobolov would be voicing Drax the Destroyer in the series that's about to be premiered later this year.

Marvel Entertainment has officially announced the recruitment of Will Friedle and David Sobolov as additional voice cast into Disney XD's upcoming "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy" animated series. Both stars would be joined in the voice cast ensemble by Kevin Michael Richardson and Trevor Devall.
As for Friedle, he has been cast to voice the Star-Lord, while Sobolov is set to lend his voice as Drax the Destroyer. In "Guardians of the Galaxy" film version, the role of Star-Lord was portrayed by Chris Pratt, whereas Dave Bautista portrayed the role of Drax. Sobolov himself is no stranger to voicing Drax as he's been voicing the character in other animated series, such as "Ultimate Spider-Man" and "Marvel's Avengers Assemble."
