Two "The Walking Dead" alums have booked new acting gigs, though not on the same show. Emily Kinney is cast as "The Flash" villain, while her former co-star David Morrissey lands a recurring role in season 2 of "Extant".

Kinney, whose character Beth Greene was killed off in the midseason finale of the zombie-themed series, will play Brie Larvan, a reimagining of the classic DC villain Bertram Larvan a.k.a. Bug-Eyed Bandit who is described as "a narcissistic tech wizard wreaking havoc in Central City."

Brie will appear in episode 18 of the superhero series. In the same outing, Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) will cross over from "Arrow" and will cross paths with Brie. Felicity and Brie will engage in a hacker battle for The Flash's life.

As for Morrissey, the former Governor depicter on the AMC hit series will portray "General Tobias Shepherd, the head of the Global Security Commission, who is known and respected for making the tough calls of wartime and standing by them-even when they are morally ambiguous," EW reports. Shepherd has a personal history with Molly Woods (Halle Berry) and this will complicate his work in light of a deadly new threat to humanity.

Morrissey joins Jeffrey Dean Morgan who was earlier announced to recur on the CBS series as JD Richter, a "roguish... free-wheeling, hard-drinking" mercenary/bounty hunter. The show is expected to return with its second season this summer.
