A representative for the ABC talk show brands accusations that behind-the-scene drama is the real reason of O'Donnell leaving as 'completely ridiculous.'

AceShowbiz - Despite her official statement that she decided to leave "The View" due to family issues, Rosie O'Donnell is rumored having a constant fights with the show's producers which prompted her exit. The rumor is quickly dismissed by a representative for the talk show.

A source told the Daily Mail that O'Donnell who split from wife Michelle Rounds used her marital problem as a safe excuse to depart "The View" and cover up the alleged behind-the-scene drama that supposedly became the real reason of her leaving the show.

"Put simply Rosie wanted out and she believed this story was the easiest way for her to exit," the source claimed. "ABC can now go back to how it was and have their executives in charge instead of the talent calling the shots - Rosie caused nothing but trouble."

"The View is a pain in my a**," a so-called senior Disney executive also said. "We need to instill law and order with the talent on that show to fix it."

A rep for the show called the accusations "completely ridiculous" and added, "All our thoughts are with Rosie and her family." They also denied rumor that the show was struggling, saying that they actually outperformed rival program "The Talk" in all key metrics this season.
