According to a new report, Warner Bros. is planning to make the movie whose tone reportedly will be like 'Avengers'-meets-'Guardians of the Galaxy'.

Warner Bros. reportedly is working on a new superhero movie. According to a Tuesday, February 3 report by Bleeding Cool, a "Legion of Superheroes" movie is in the works in the company. Following the massive success of "Guardians of the Galaxy", the reported project allegedly will be like Avengers-meets-Guardians. The tone of the movie will reportedly be lighter compared to other DC movies.
The site noted that the project had not received the greenlight. They, however, maintain that it is currently in "serious development."
Back in September, Latino Review reported that Warners was planning to create a movie featuring "Legion of Superheroes". The studio reportedly had sent the comics to some writers for takes.
Set in far future, the "Legion of Superheroes" was first featured in "Adventure Comics" #247 which was published in 1958. Some of the characters include Cosmic Boy who has super-magnetism, Saturn Girl who can probe humans and animals' minds, and Lightning Lad who is able to generate electricity from his body.
