Morrissey canceled a gig in Iceland due to his vegetarian policy. The singer and animal rights activist decided to pull out of his upcoming show at Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik because the venue refused to stop serving meat.

Morrissey has always asked that any venue he plays be vegetarian at least for the night his show takes place. According to fansite True to You, the Iceland venue's operators didn't want to comply with the star's request.

"I love Iceland and I have waited a long time to return, but I shall leave the Harpa Concert Hall to their cannibalistic flesh-eating bloodlust," the former frontman of The Smiths explained the cancellation in a statement.

This isn't Mos' first time to have ever scrapped a scheduled show because the venue won't go vegetarian. In 2009, he cut short his gig at Coachella fest after complaining about the smell of burgers.
