Lil Wayne is bringing along his crew if he leaves Cash Money Records. The rapper is planning to sue the label and its boss Birdman for $8 million in unpaid advance of his delayed new album "Tha Carter V". In addition to the money, Weezy wants to ensure his Young Money artists stay with him, according to a new TMZ report.

Those signed to his Young Money include Drake and Nicki Minaj. Other notable names are Mack Maine who doubles as YM's president, Lil Twist and Christina Milian. Although Birdman played a huge part in their carreers, Weezy believes the artists belong with him because their contracts are with Young Money.

Taking his YM crew with him, however, won't be easy for Wayne as all of these artists have distribution deal with Cash Money. The issue will likely have to be settled in court, but sources have told TMZ that Wayne isn't leaving without them.

Wayne also seems confident about his YM artists' loyalty. On the track "CoCo" from his "Sorry 4 the Wait 2" mixtape, he raps, "I ain't trippin', I got Barbie, I got Drake too."
