The 'Not Afraid' rapper visited the home of a fan who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, on Sunday, January 11.

AceShowbiz - Eminem granted the final wish of a terminally ill fan who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, TMZ reported. The 42-year-old rapper visited Gage Garmo's house in Michigan, which is reportedly about 20 minutes from his house, on Sunday, January 11 at around 5 P.M.

According to the site, Eminem arranged a quiet home visit for Gage because he didn't want the visit become a publicity stunt. The "Love the Way You Lie" rapper spent about an hour with Gage, talking and hanging out. The 17-year-old fan, who was told that he had only one week to live, was reportedly in good spirits during and after the visit.

MyFoxDetroit has reported that Gage passed away on Monday night, January 12. Earlier in the evening, Gage's family and friends gathered at Rochester High school's football field to lit candles for him.

Gage's friends and family previously created the hashtag #GetGageGarmoToMeetEminem in order to make him meet his idol.
