Around 30 female protesters stood up and yelled 'we believe the women' during Bill's last show in Ontario, Canada on Friday, January 9.

AceShowbiz - Bill Cosby's show in Hamilton, Ontario was disrupted by hecklers. As Bill began his comedy acts, around 30 female protesters stood up from their seats inside the Hamilton Place and removed their coats to show the "We Believe the Women" T-shirts they wore.

The women then chanted "we believe the women" repeatedly with some of them blowing whistles. When security guards tried to escort the protesters, the 77-year-old comedian told them, "Stop, stop, let them, let them, stop... let them have their say."

Some of the audience showed their support for Bill by saying "we believe the men" and "we love you Bill." However, one male audience later stood up from his seat and yelled, "You're a piece of s**t. You rapist," to which the comedian responded, "Stop, no, no, don't do this." The heckler was then corralled by security.

Prior to his show, Bill told the audience, "Whatever happens here tonight if there's some sort of outburst, we just have to remain calm and things will be taken care of. It oughtn't last that long... I want to thank all of you here tonight because you stayed with what you believed in."

There were also 150 placard-waving protesters outside the venue who were organized by the Woman Abuse Working Group.

On the previous day, hundreds of protesters also gathered outside the venue of Bill's show at the Bundweiser Gardens in London, Ontario. At that time, the demonstrators brought some signs and yelled "shame on you" to ticket holders.
