A snippet of the track, which will be released in full on Monday, January 12, is featured on a video starring the singer's daughter River Rose.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson has given fans the first listen to her upcoming comeback single "Heartbeat Song". Days after announcing the song's title and release date, the former "American Idol" winner shared an audio preview on Friday, January 9.

The short snippet can be heard in a video Clarkson posted on her website as well as on her social media accounts. The 41-second clip features an appearance from her cute daughter River Rose who kicks her feet as she sits in a chair in the studio while wearing oversized headphones over her pink hat.

"Hey, River, what are you listening to? It's making you dance!" Clarkson asks before taking the headphones off her baby girl's head. River continues to dance and giggle as the song plays in the background.

"This is my heartbeat song and I'm gonna play it/ Turned it on / but I know you can take it up-up-up-up all night long," the 32-year-old singer and proud mom sings.

"Heartbeat Song" will be released on Monday, January 12. It serves as the lead single off Clarkson's new album, her first non-holiday set since 2011's "Stronger". "My next album is pop. But I am always influenced by music I love, which is pop- rock/country/r&b/dance #whoknowswhatsnext," she recently said of her new project on Twitter.

"Oh and people also keep asking about the duet on the record. Here's a hint ....this wasn't our first time to sing together," she added.
