Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z celebrated their daughter Blue Ivy's third birthday on Wednesday, January 7. Both of the couple shared on Instagram a black-and-white photo of an ice sculpture in the shape of a snowflake with an engraved message which read, "Happy Birthday Blue," placed beside a number-3-shaped metallic balloon.
Many sites presumed the powerhouse couple celebrated Blue's birthday with a "Frozen (2013)"-themed party because of the shape of the ice sculpture. According to Us Weekly, Blue is a huge fan of the Disney animated movie. " 'Frozen' is definitely [Blue's] favorite movie," a source tells the site, adding that the little girl is "addicted to 'Frozen' " and "watches it several times a day."
The source says, "[Blue] cries when pulled away," adding that she got a lot of "Frozen"-themed toys for Christmas. "Blue always pretends to be Elsa."
Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles sent her birthday wishes to her "twin" niece by posting a photo of her holding Blue who adorably put eye shadow on her. "My twin, my fellow sassy pants, my dancing partner, my incredibly smart, beautiful, niece-y-poo, turns 3 today! I love her so much," Solange captioned it along with heart emoticons.
