Blake Shelton is set to pull double duty on "Saturday Night Live". The country music crooner has been tapped as host as well as musical guest for the January 24 episode of the NBC long-running series. The gig will mark the first time he appears on the show.

Shelton is expected to perform songs from his latest chart-topping album "Bringing Back the Sunshine", which was released on August 18. He will return as coach on NBC's singing competition series "The Voice" when it kicks off the eighth season on February 23.

Kevin Hart has previously been announced to host the first episode in 2015 which is scheduled to air on January 17, just a day after his new movie "The Wedding Ringer" opens in U.S. theaters. Sia Furler will serve as musical guest in the episode.

It will be the second time for Hart to host the show after pulling the same duty back in March 2013.
