Some fans of the rapper who said they didn't know who the surviving member of The Beatles was admit they're just joking.

AceShowbiz - It's hard to believe that there are people who know absolutely nothing about Paul McCartney. A bunch of Kanye West fans admitted that they had no idea who the British singer was as they took to Twitter to comment on his newly-released collaboration with the rapper, "Only One".
"Who is Paul McCartney? Why do people love him?" a fan wrote. Other fans even hilariously said that Macca could be famous now thanks to the song. "I don't know who Paul McCartney is, but Kanye is going to give this man a career w/ this new song," read one tweet. Another agreed, "This Paul McCartney guy gonna be huge."
The tweets understandably angered some McCartney and The Beatles fans. "If you don't know who #PaulMcCartney is, you don't deserve your ears," one person wrote. Another added, "Losing hope in humanity by the minute. RT if you know who Paul McCartney is #TheBeatles."
However, it appears that some of West fans actually pretended not to know who McCartney was. One person who goes by @CurvedDaily on Twitter first said, "Who tf is paul mccartney???!??! this is why i love kanye for shining light on unknown artists," before later making it clear that he was not serious.
"Guys please leave me alone, I love the Beatles ok! smells like teen spirit is one of my favourite songs!! stop telling me j don't know music," he joked.
"Only One" was released late last week. The slow-tempo ballad finds West singing about his daughter Nori from the perspective of his mother Donda who died back in 2007.
The song won't be the duo's only collaboration. Ty Dolla $ign recently revealed in an interview with Billboard that he's appearing alongside West, McCartney and Rihanna on another song from the "Bound 2" hitmaker's upcoming album.
