New images from action-packed "Mad Max: Fury Road" have landed online. The new photos, which emerged on Reddit, show some scenes from the highly-anticipated movie starring Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult. One of them sees Theron, who plays a character named Furiosa, without her bionic arm. She can be seen fighting a man while three women watch from close distance.

Another photo which emerged online sees her and Hardy in action. The "Locke" star, who plays the titular character, is seen holding a gun during a stakeout. Other photos show Nathan Jones on top of a car and a scary-looking character standing in the desert alongside others.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" is set in a post-apocalypse world where people who survive fight over limited resources. Directed by George Miller, the action flick also stars Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley among others. An explosive teaser trailer full of chasing scenes was released last month to tease the movie which is set to hit U.S. theaters on May 15.
