'The Celebrity Apprentice' Season 14 Premiere: Bill Cosby Could've Helped One Team

Keisha Knight Pulliam is fired in the first episode for not using her connection with Bill to help her team win the pie baking challenge.

AceShowbiz - The competition is on on "The Celebrity Apprentice" season 7 which aired its first episode on Sunday, January 4. In the season premiere, the men were pitted up against the women, who surprisingly created not much drama despite the participation of several reality TV stars namely Kate Gosselin, Brandi Glanville and Kenya Moore.

Their first challenge was to create and sell celebrity pies. Keisha Knight Pulliam, who played Bill Cosby's daughter on "The Cosby Show", volunteered to be the project manager for the women's team called Infinity. The men's team went with Vortex as their group's name and Geraldo Rivera as their project manager.

Infinity agreed to make two pies with savory and sweet flavors. Keisha was contacting her friends while the other ladies baked the pies, but Kenya thought Keisha didn't do a lot in bringing in the money.

As Vortex was working on their pies, Kevin Jonas was responsible for the promotion on social media. The singer complained that Geraldo was working way too slow. The men burnt some pies. Kevin said Geraldo never checked on the pies at all and that he was mismanaging.

On the day they sold the pies, a bunch of ladies were lining up to see Kevin. Bill O'Reilly sent a $10k check, Sean Hannity donated $10k, and another gave $20k. Over at Infinity, Maria Menounos made a visit to give a big check.

"Cake Boss" star Buddy Valasto tasted the pies and he liked the women's pies, so they got the $25k bonus. When it's added to the money they raised (a total of $93,862), they still lost to the men's team who brought in $185,322.

Keshia blamed Kate, Jamie Anderson and Shawn Johnson for not bringing in substantial checks, but Kenya thought Keshia was holding back because she wasn't calling Bill Cosby (the show was taped before the actor's abuse scandal became public.)

During the Boardroom, Keshia explained why she didn't call Bill, "I have not talked to Bill Cosby on the phone in I don't know how long. So for me to pick up the phone, having not talked to you for five years, except for when we run into each other for a Cosby event - I feel that's not my place to do."

Donald Trump said if she had called Bill, it could have helped her team and she should take responsibility for the team's lost. He fired Keshia, and Piers Morgan and Ivanka Trump agreed. He explained on Twitter, "This show was taped just before the terrible Bill Cosby revelations came to light. She still should have asked him for money-goes to charity."
