Lindsay Lohan Launches Her Own Mobile Game

LiLo teams up with OK Go guitarist to create 'The Price of Fame', a mobile game that parodies the celebrity culture.

AceShowbiz - After suing Rockstar for allegedly creating a character based on her image in "Grand Theft Auto V", Lindsay Lohan is now stepping into game world herself. She has launched a mobile game that parodies the celebrity culture. "The Price of Fame" is available on iPhone, Android, and tablets, and apparently there's more to come as she tweeted, "Proud to announce 1 of my new games!"

The game was programmed by OK Go's member. "I'm thrilled to have worked with Space Inch on this. Programmer Andy Ross, guitarist of OK Go, did a great job. He understood what I wanted and the game captures a great part of culture and our current media society. This app is humorous, smart, and engaging," LiLo said.

"You can become a famous celebrity just like me, but there is a lot of DRAMA along the way!" she said on her official website. "In this game you are the celebrity, you pick your fashion and gain fans based off what you do and how you play!"

"You can create your own celebrity persona-- wear a space helmet with a see-through dress, high heels, a solid gold mask, and hang out with a pet tiger," the description reads. "Or maybe you prefer a simpler outfit with just some sneakers, jeans, a t-shirt, ski goggles, a pink mohawk, a couple babies, a pet snake, and everyone's underwater. YOU ARE THE CELEBRITY, YOU DECIDE HOW CRAZY THINGS WILL GET."

"Start a phony rap beef, buy a private peninsula, get butt implants, fight in an elevator, and give your baby botox. It's all part of getting famous in Hollywood. And why not punch a paparazzi while you are at it? Don't worry, you have a hot shot team of lawyers to get you out of trouble. And they probably deserved it."

According to TechCrunch, "The Price of Fame" debuted at No. 10 at the App Store. It's reportedly on track to rake in $200 million within its first year. Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian also released a mobile game. It takes fans to "a virtual world complete with exclusive clubs, upscale boutiques, and luxury homes." It reportedly earned $43.4 million in the third quarter.
