More info from projects related to Sony Pictures surfaced online following massive cyber-attack which hit the company two weeks ago. On Wednesday, December 10, CNN reported that the upcoming James Bond movie "Spectre" was already way over the budget.

The info was derived from internal memos by MGM Studios. Sony is the distribution partner for the 24th Bond movie. An email written by MGM president Jonathan Glickman in November suggested that the budget "sits in the mid $300Ms" and he wanted to cut it down.

Some suggestions to cut down the budget such as using three train carriages instead of four during a fighting scene, moving the filming location and other ideas were thrown. Eventually, Sony's co-chairman Amy Pascal told him, "It's insane and you know with no script this movie is gonna go overbudget."

Other info revealed by the report is regarding the casting. Director Sam Mendes apparently wants Andrew Scott, who plays Sherlock Holmes' arch-enemy Moriarty on "Sherlock", to play Bond's intelligence agency boss, "C." Additionally, there will be an appearance from a "lesbian bad lady" and Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the head of Bond's enemy organization.

In other "Spectre"-related news, the Bond movie lost nine luxury cars following a theft in Germany in October. Quoting business paper WirtschaftsWoche, The Hollywood Reporter said five Range Rover Sport models which were customized for the movie and four other cars were stolen from Rover headquarters in Neuss. Luckily, the Aston Martin DB10 which is the official Bond car was not stolen.
