Henry Cavill and his girlfriend Gina Carano have ended their relationship again after rekindling romance in late 2013, E! Online reports. A source told the site that the break-up "happened a while ago."

Earlier this year, the couple revealed they adopted a dog together from Big Bear Akitas, a breeder in Arkansas. At that time, the breeder shared some details about their experiences with the couple, writing, "It was so great working with Henry and getting to meet him as well as Gina was truly a treat."

"Both Henry and Gina are genuine and a joy to be around," the breeder added, "It was truly an honor to add them to our extended family and thank them for their patience in meeting us and our children. It's not every day that an A-list celebrity, much less 2 celebrities, come to Beebe, AR to visit."

Henry began dating the "Fast and Furious 6" actress in September 2012 shortly after his split from his then-fiancee professional show jumper Ellen Whitaker. The couple then reportedly broke up in May 2013 and two months later, the "Immortals" actor went public with his relationship with Kaley Cuoco, which lasted only for two weeks.

After splitting from the star of "The Big Bang Theory", Henry reconciled with Gina. The 31-year-old actor was spotted having a romantic dinner with Gina in Rome, Italy in October 2013.
