The FOX animated series makes an 'obligatory' reference to the hit Disney movie in the newest couch gag.

It's almost a year since "Frozen (2013)" was released in theaters and became a worldwide hit, but only now "The Simpsons" finds the right time to spoof the movie. The FOX series inserts an "obligatory 'Frozen' reference" to a couch gag of its upcoming Christmas-themed episode.
Towards the end of the video, Lisa channels her inner Elsa by building an ice castle out of the ground after Bart throws a snowball at her. Homer, meanwhile, plays Olaf and eats his own carrot nose.
"I Won't Be Home for Christmas" airs Sunday, December 7 at 8 P.M. on FOX. After Moe convinces Homer to stay out drinking on Christmas Eve, Marge tells Homer not to come home. This leads to Homer's sad trek through lonely Springfield, where he learns that the only place where one should truly get drunk on Christmas is home.
Some clips from the episode have been released, one of which shows Marge and his children looking for Homer after telling him not to come home. Homer, meanwhile, is seen walking through the lonely Springfield on Christmas Eve.
