The 'Earth to Echo' director reportedly has entered negotation to replace Jonathan Liebesman from the first film at the helm.

The search for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" director is on. According to a scoop from The Wrap, Dave Green ("Earth to Echo") is in early negotiations to helm the sequel which is planned to arrive in theaters nationwide starting June 3, 2016.
Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec from the first film return to write the script, and Michael Bay is back as a producer alongside his Platinum Dune partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. The plot is still unclear, but Form recently hinted that fan favorites Bebop and Rocksteady would appear in the second movie.
Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the first "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" starred Megan Fox, Will Arnett, and William Fichtner. The four titular turtles were motion-captured by Pete Ploszek, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, and Jeremy Howard.
