'I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing or else we wouldn't put everything into it,' the band's frontman Chris Martin said of the follow-up to this year's 'Ghost Stories'.

AceShowbiz - It has just been a few months since Coldplay dropped their latest album "Ghost Stories", but the band has already planned a follow-up. Frontman Chris Martin shared some details about the upcoming project including its title during an interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe on December 4.

"We haven't told anyone this, but we're making an album called 'A Head Full of Dreams'. We're right in the middle of it," Martin said before suggesting the album could be their last. "It's our seventh thing and the way we look at it is like the last 'Harry Potter' book or something like that."

"Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something. It was great to go from 'Ghost Stories' to go right back in the studio," he added. "Now we're making thing that sounds different and it's a very fun time to be in our band. I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing or else we wouldn't put everything into it."

He went on saying that he and his bandmates would be embarking on a tour after the new album is released sometime in 2015 via Parlophone.

"Ghost Stories" arrived back in May and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 with the biggest debut week sales of 2014 at that time. The set has spawned several singles including "Magic", "A Sky Full of Stars" and "True Love".
