Ryan Reynolds has confirmed his return to "Deadpool". The actor took to Twitter on Thursday, November 4 to share a photo of the masked character and wrote, "Uh... It's Chimichanga Time," which refers to Deadpool's favorite Mexican food.

Deadline previously reported that Reynolds was closing a deal with Fox to star in the "X-Men" spin-off. He originally portrayed the character Deadpool a.k.a. Wade Wilson in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". The character who is also nicknamed "The Merc with a Mouth" is described as a mercenary with bad attitude and two swords. He also has healing ability like Wolverine.

In September, "Deadpool" was announced to be released on February 12, 2016. Tim Miller will serve behind the lens with the script provided by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg serve as the producers. Production reportedly is set to start in March.

Reynolds next can be seen in "The Voices" alongside Anna Kendrick and Gemma Arterton. He is also set to appear in "The Woman in Gold" with Helen Mirren, Katie Holmes and Daniel Bruhl among others.
