AceShowbiz - Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy Juvonen welcomed their second child, another baby girl, via surrogate on Wednesday, December 3. A representative for the couple confirmed the happy news to PEOPLE.

"Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 3, weighing 5 lbs., 11 oz. and is 18.5 inches long," the representative said in a statement, "Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose, [16 months]. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate."

Jimmy tweeted what appeared to be the nickname of his new bundle of joy, writing, "Franny sends her thanks."

NBC told E! Online that Jimmy's show "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" would be canceled for Wednesday and Thursday. "Due to unexpected but delightful circumstances, 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' has had to cancel tapings for today and tomorrow," NBC said.

On the same day, Jimmy shared on Twitter a photo of his Entertainment Weekly cover. He was chosen as the 2014 Entertainer of the Year by the magazine. The former "Saturday Night Live" cast member wrote alongside the photo, "No,seriously! Seriously! Ew! Ew! Right? Right? Ew! @EW!"

Jimmy and his wife welcomed their first daughter, Winnie Rose, in July 2013. He expressed his excitement to become a father at that time. "Yeah, I'm pretty tired. But basically it's a weird type of tired, where it's like you're so tired but you don't feel exhausted, you feel like, 'I just have to do this, so I'm gonna keep moving through this pace.' It's fun, it's fun tired because you're just excited to what she does next. It's exciting," he told E! Online.

He also gushed over Winnie, "Last night we were giving her a sponge bath and she loves it when you put the water on her head, her little head, she has a tiny little round head... She's a great baby. Doesn't cry."
