Mel B a.k.a. Melanie Brown shared that she experimented with women in a TV interview in early November and now she has shared more details about the past relationship. In a new interview with The Guardian over the weekend, the former member of Spice Girls revealed that she dated a mom named Crista Parker whom she met at her daughter Phoenix's school in L.A. before meeting her husband Stephen Belafonte.
"I did have a four-year relationship with a woman. But I've been very happily married for seven years to a penis. An amazing guy," she told the newspaper. "Well, you know what I mean. But I've definitely not been shy or been one to hold back. If I wanted to try something, I did. I had a girlfriend. So what?"
In the interview, she also denied that she and her husband have an open marriage. "No, me and my husband are very tight and solid. But I will be the first one to compliment a woman, to say to my husband, 'Oh my God, look at her legs,' or 'Doesn't she look stunning?' I do think women are gorgeous. Crazy but gorgeous," she explained.
Mel B and Belafonte, whom she married in 2007, are parents to a 3-year-old Madison, while Phoenix is her oldest child with Jimmy Gulzar. She also has a daughter with Eddie Murphy named Angel.
