HBO has debuted a new promo for its new comedy series "Togetherness", giving an insight into the issues faced by the main characters. At the center of the story are married couples Brett & Michelle and Alex & Tina.

Brett & Michelle are struggling to rekindle the spark in their relationship, which has puttered out from the stresses of marriage and children. Alex, who is Brett's friend, struggles financially and when he's getting evicted from his house, he and Michelle's sister Tina move in with Brett & Michelle.

Sharing their problems and some advice, the foursome engage in a tragically comedic struggle to follow their personal dreams, while still remaining good friends, siblings and spouses to each other.

The new show is from brothers Jay and Mark Duplass, the latter of which also stars as Brett. Melanie Lynskey portrays his on-screen wife, while Steve Zissis and Amanda Peet play the other couple.

The half-hour comedy is set to debut Sunday, January 11 at 9:30 P.M. on HBO, after the new season premiere of "Girls".
