A "Justice League: Dark" movie apparently is happening after all. Director Guillermo del Toro said during an interview about his series "The Strain" with Forbes that a script for a the adaptation of the DC comics was complete and had already been handed to Warner Bros. executives. Their reaction is expected to be delivered in a few days.

The project, tentatively titled "Dark Universe", was confirmed back in early 2013, but there was no or little reports regarding the movie. With the release of "Constantine" on NBC this fall and its omission from Warner Bros.' schedule announcement recently, many fans were wondering whether the project was still on.

"Justice Leage: Dark" features characters like Constantine, Black Orchid and Deadman.

del Toro's upcoming projects include 2015's "Crimson Peak" starring Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam and Tom Hiddleston. He is also sitting behind the lens for "Pacific Rim 2" which is set to hit theaters in 2017.
