AC/DC's member Phil Rudd showed up in Tauranga District Court late during his second court meeting scheduled for 9 A.M. on Wednesday, November 26 and his lawyer couldn't offer an explanation. "The only information I can give you, is he is not here. I have spoken to him today, he knows to be here. I cannot take it any further," the lawyer said, as reported by Sunlive.

The judge said he would issue an arrest warrant if the drummer was not present by 9.30, but he eventually showed up a few minutes later. He did not enter a plea during the session and his next appearance is set for December 2.

Rudd was charged with possessing methamphetamine and marijuana and threatening to kill following an arrest earlier this month. He was originally also charged with plotting murder, but it was dropped due to the lack of evidence.

Rudd fooled around outside the court, playfully climbing onto the back of a bodyguard in addition to making a rude gesture involving his middle finger to the media. Entering his black Nissan GTR, Rudd almost caused crash as he reversed the car into the path of an incoming truck. The truck driver was forced to hit the brake to avoid collision.
