Amanda Bynes clarified her murderous rant about her parents. "I was obviously joking about hurting my family - I straight up don't believe in harming a soul," she tweeted after she was caught on tape sharing disturbing thoughts about wanting to kill her father and mother.

"I said what I said in jest & if you don't understand that then know I'm in therapy to talk about my dad issues," the troubled star continued addressing the matter online. "And that will solve my concerns with ppl invading my private life."

"When I said I want @drake to murder my vagina did anyone think I was asking him to actually murder my vagina?" the former child star went on. "I think not. ... So take what I say lightly because I am the nicest girl."

The ex-Nickelodeon actress also said, "I am one of the most thoughtful girls you'll ever meet so don't read into what I joke about - that is a joke that ppl say and there is no reason why I can't joke about it as well."

Her attorney David Esquibias slammed TMZ who obtained the disturbing audio recordings and posted them online. The lawyer called out the website for invasion of privacy.

"I'm disgusted by TMZ. The audio is not news and it's not even gossip," he told Access Hollywood. "Amanda sees her doctors four days a week and I'm in contact with her all day, every day. Publishing audio like that does not help Amanda at all. The media needs to be more responsible."

Bynes was previously overheard blasting her father, "I want to literally, like, lead him into a ditch, ... Nothing would give me greater pleasure than slitting his throat." Of her mother, she said, "I call my mom and like I threaten to kill her, and I threaten to slit her wrist, and I threaten to like burn down her house."
