The first trailer of "Hungry Hearts" has arrived. The psychological drama shone at the Venice Film Festival this year after premiering at the event, winning both Best Actor and Best Actress nods for Adam Driver and Alba Rohrwacher.

The trailer begins by showing a young couple who is happily married. Everything seems to look only brighter from there if not the woman's change of attitude after the birth of their son. The wife (Rohrwacher) hears from a spiritual guide that she is bearing an "indigo" child. Driver stars as the husband who is worried of his wife's obsession with purity and cleanliness, mostly fearing the shielded life of their infant.

"Hungry Hearts" is written and directed by Italian filmmaker Saverio Costanzo based on the novel by Marco Franzoso. IFC films recently acquired the North American rights to the film and will release the pic sometime in spring 2015. Radiant Films is handling the foreign sales and shopping it to buyers at AFM.

"Saverio Costanzo astonished us all with this film, a haunting exploration of a relationship with a startling conclusion," said Jonathan Sehring, president of Sundance Selects/IFC Films.
