Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell will make an on-screen reunion in rivalry comedy "Daddy's Home". The two actors previously shared screen in 2010's action comedy "The Other Guys" directed by Adam McKay.

"Horrible Bosses 2" director Sean Anders will sit behind the lens for the upcoming flick, "Entourage" writer Brian Burns wrote the script, while McKay is among the people who helped polish the screenplay.

The film follows a mild-mannered radio executive (Ferrell) who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife's two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids.

After coming off "Transformers: Age of Extinction", Wahlberg will next be seen in "The Gambler", "Mojave" and "Ted 2". He also produces the movie version of "Entourage". Ferrell will star in "Get Hard" and produces "Sleeping with Other People".
