Angelina Jolie is featured on the front page of the latest edition of Vanity Fair. Wearing a simple white shirt, the "Maleficent" star opens up about marriage to Brad Pitt, her upcoming movie "Unbroken", which she directed and produced, as well as possibility of a career in politics in the accompanying interview.

Jolie and Pitt got married in France in August. "It does feel different. It feels nice to be husband and wife," Jolie says of their marriage. The 39-year-old mother of six additionally shares a wedding vow written by her children, saying, "They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say, 'Sorry,' if we do. So they said, 'Do you?' and we said, 'We do!' "

In the interview, Jolie, who has been active in humanitarian works, admits that she is "open" to pursuing life in politics. "When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered. Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility. But I honestly don't know in what role I would be more useful - I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that [could] make it less possible," she says of her activities.

"Unbroken", which centers on an Olympian and war hero Louis Zamperini whose plane crashed and he was later captured by Japanese Navy during the World War II, is set to hit U.S. theaters on Christmas Day. Jolie was close to Zamperini before he passed away at the age of 97 in July.

"It was an extremely moving experience to watch someone watching their own life... someone so physically strong... and they are at the stage where their body is giving up," the emotional actress says. "And yet we laughed together, and talked about his mom. And being a man of such faith, he talked about all the people he believed he would be seeing on the other side. And that it would bring him peace. After a life of fighting, he could rest."
