AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift already has a big plan for New Year's Eve. ABC announced on Monday, October 27 that the 24-year-old superstar would be headlining the New Year's Rockin' Eve in New York City's Times Square.

The annual event, slated to air live on Wednesday, December 31, will be once again hosted by Ryan Seacrest who also serves as executive producer. "Each year New Year's Rockin' Eve continues its iconic legacy by delivering incredible performances from the year's hottest artists, and this year is no exception," the "American Idol" host has said in a statement.

"We already have secured an unprecedented number of music acts, culminating with a Times Square performance by Taylor, the biggest superstar in music today," he added.

At the upcoming New Year's Rockin' Eve, Swift is expected to deliver "a performance of her hit songs," presumably including tracks from her newly-released "1989" album. The five-and-a-half-hour show this year will also feature more than 30 other performances.
