Another actor is added to the possible cast ensemble of DC anti-hero movie "Suicide Squad". According to Deadline, Jesse Eisenberg is in negotiations to star in the movie, reprising his role as Lex Luthor who will make his debut in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
Lineup for the movie is yet to be announced, but Will Smith and Margot Robbie who play con artist duo in "Focus", and Tom Hardy who will next star in "Mad Max: Fury Road" are close to getting signed on. There are also rumblings that Ryan Gosling is pursuing the project.
The film revolves around a group of convicted villains in DC Comics Universe who were given a second chance for redemption. Employed by the government, they are sent on high-risk black ops missions which likely end up killing them all. It is directed by "Fury" helmer David Ayer.
Eisenberg is currently filming "Batman v Superman" which is set for March 25, 2016. The "Suicide Squad" is also due the same year, so it's expected to go into production soon. This seems to complicate Eisenberg's schedule as he is prepping to shoot Todd Phillips' "Arms and the Dudes" after he's done with "Batman v Superman".
