AceShowbiz - Geraldo Rivera's family is uninjured following a recent car crash. The veteran journalist took to Twitter on Sunday, October 19 to talk about the accident involving his wife Erica Levy and their child Sol.
Levy apparently rear-ended a car in front of her on the West Side Highway. "Erica & Sol are fine but her Range Rover's a mess after guy from out of state stopped short on the West Side Highway," Rivera captioned a photo of the wrecked car.
The 71-year-old newsman also shared a selfie he took on the scene with the responding officers. "Thanks to Officer Kublo and others from the 20th [precinct] who responded professionally and promptly to Erica's accident," he wrote.
Rivera once made headlines after he shared a topless bathroom selfie which he captioned with "70 is the new 50." Last week, he uploaded a similar selfie on Twitter. He, however, made reference to crisis in Syria in the caption for the holiday selfie. "Kobani is the real Benghazi. The besieged fortress where president really can & must save heroic defenders," he said, referring to a city in Syria which was under threats from ISIS.
