Phaedra Parks made appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday, October 15. Stopping by the chat show, the star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" opened up about her husband Apollo Nida who was sentenced to prison for eight years, their divorce and addressed cheating accusation.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Parks shared that she was not aware her husband committed crimes because she was busy with her job, study and motherhood. "I just got my fifth college degree. I have two very small children. I just stopped breastfeeding three months ago. I didn't have any idea that this was going on until he called me and said, 'Hey I've been arrested,' " she recalled.

Parks also said that she believed Nida was a changed person when they met. "Well to be honest he had been to prison and he was a changed person. So the person I married. I thought he was changed," she told the host, before adding, "I have made that decision [to divorce him]."

During her appearance, Parks hilariously addressed rumor that she cheated on her husband with a man named Chocolate. "I think it's totally absurd to think I cheated," the reality star said. "They're saying that I had an affair with a man from Africa named chocolate. Now, everybody knows that I do like a snicker bar every once in a while, but it's definitely not a man from Africa that I've ever had an affair with. It's just absurd."

"Do you know a man named chocolate?" DeGeneres asked, to which she replied, "I don't. I do know Mr. Goodbar though!"
