Jennifer Garner has shot down pregnancy rumors which had been surrounding her after she was spotted sporting a "baby bump" back in July. Jennifer confirmed to Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday, October 8 the "baby bump" existed but not the baby.

The "Dallas Buyers Club" actress explained, "I get congratulated all the time by people I know. This one woman who had babysat for us said, 'Oh, my gosh! I can't wait for No. 4,' and I thought, 'What is going on?' So I asked around and apparently I have a baby bump, and I'm here to tell you that I do!"

Shortly afterwards, the audience of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" erupted into frenzied applause. Jennifer then set the record straight, saying, "I am not pregnant, but I've had three kids and there is a 'bump.' From now on ladies, I will have a 'bump' and it will be my 'baby bump' and let's just all settle in and get used to it, it's not going anywhere."

When Ellen asked if she would have the baby bump forever, Jennifer replied with a joke, "Forever and ever, not another baby. Just a bump ... like a camel. But just in reverse."

During her appearance on the show, the "Elektra" actress also shared her opinion about her husband Ben Affleck's frontal nude scene in "Gone Girl". When Ellen suggested that the nude scene might be one of the reasons the movie became a hit, Jennifer joked, "He's showing his penis. I think you're probably onto something. What I have to say is, 'You're welcome.' "

She added, "I just try to consider myself a charitable person and I wanted to give back. You give me so much, I wanted to give something back to all of you."

When asked if this was Ben's first frontal nude scene in a movie, Jennifer replied, "Outside of our very racy film [home]? Yes." Ellen then asked her, "Did you talk about it?" The "Juno" actress answered, "It wasn't a discussion. It was like, 'Hey, at work today Fincher talked me into coming out of the shower.' And I was like, 'Oh, cool, well, I hope he had on a wide lens.' "
