Music

The 'Karate Kid' actor says 'Blue Ocean' that samples a Justin Timberlake song won't be on his new album but 'Trophy' will.

AceShowbiz - Jaden Smith has returned with some new music. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's son recently took to his SoundCloud page to share a couple of new songs titled "Blue Ocean V19" and "Trophy V6".

The former track, arriving on Tuesday, September 30, features samples of Justin Timberlake's "Blue Ocean Floor". On the seven-minute song, he talks about finding a woman and her "blow dealer" at Coachella while his sister Willow Smith adds some soulful vocals.

The latter, coming on Wednesday, is an uptempo hip-hop song featuring Jaden talking about educational systems' damage. "Please don't listen to your teachers/ I'm trying to get rid of all the nonsense that they teach us," he raps.

Smith is now working on an album to follow up his 2012 mixtape "The Cool Tape Vol. 1". Prior to sharing "Blue Ocean", he said on Twitter that the song wouldn't make the cut to the album, writing, "I Think Im Gunna Drop Blue Ocean Tonight Since It Can't Go On The Album Anyway." Meanwhile, fans can expect "Trophy" to appear on the upcoming project.
