AceShowbiz - If the latest rumors are true, Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell possibly don't get along well on "The View". The show's vet and the returning co-host allegedly got into a heated argument in front of studio audience during a commercial break of the show's taping.

The Daily Mail reports that the nasty showdown took place on the set Thursday, September 25. A source tells the site O'Donnell was upset because Goldberg interrupted O'Donnell to go to a commercial break before she finished commenting on a "Hot Topic" that she was passionate about.

O'Donnell reportedly refused to wear an earpiece, so she had no idea that producers told Goldberg to cut the segment because it was running long. "As soon as they went to commercial break, Rosie took the handheld microphone that they use to engage the audience" and told Goldberg, "You hurt my feelings," so the source says.

Goldberg allegedly responded, "This isn't the time for this, Rosie," but O'Donnell continued, "Well I just don't appreciate you saying that you were going to do something and not doing it. It makes me upset and I just don't want to have to go through this."

Apparently annoyed that O'Donnell didn't listen to her, Goldberg reportedly hit back, "F**k it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don't want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie, I will dammit. I'm really sick of your s**t!"

There was a moment of silent after O'Donnell finally backed down and new co-host Rosie Perez tried to make light of the situation, quipping, "Oh s**t, Twitter is going to be off the hook now. They're about to get it."

Responding to the reports, a representative for "The View" says that Goldberg and O'Donnell just showed their strong opinions. "They had a misunderstanding and an exchange. They talked it out and they were back to business as usual," spokeswoman Lauri Hogan claims.
