Chelsea Clinton as well as her parents Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton took to Twitter on Saturday, September 27 to share photos of the newest addition to their family. Chelsea posted a picture of her holding her newborn daughter Charlotte while her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, was standing beside them, captioning it, "At 7:03 PM on September 26th, we finally met Charlotte. We're in love."

Chelsea's parents also couldn't hide their excitement of welcoming their first grandchild. Bill shared a picture of him and Hillary smiling widely at their granddaughter, captioning it, "Charlotte, your grandmother @HillaryClinton and I couldn't be happier!" Hillary, meanwhile, posted another picture of her, her husband and Charlotte along with caption, "@BillClinton and I are over the moon to be grandparents! One of the happiest moments of our life."

Chelsea announced the birth of her daughter just past midnight on Saturday. Following the announcement, Bill and Hillary said in a statement that they're "blessed, grateful, and so happy to be the grandparents of a beautiful girl."

The statement continued, "We are thrilled to be with our daughter and her husband as they welcome their daughter into the world. Chelsea is well and glowing. Marc is bursting with pride. Charlotte's life is off to a good start."
