More plot details are unraveled in the new trailer including the history of human existence on Earth.

"You've been taught that the birthplace of the human race is Earth. But it's not," Sean Bean's character Stinger tells Mila Kunis' Jupiter Jones. The new trailer of "Jupiter Ascending" gives the intergalactic royal highness a smack of truth about why someone wants her dead.

The trailer reveals that there are three heirs to Earth and one of them is Jupiter. Channing Tatum's Caine explains to her that she is next in line to inherit the planet but the villainous Balem aka the eldest heir will not let her. "I will harvest that planet tomorrow before I let her take it from me," the character played by Eddie Redmayne says.

There is another highlight on Jupiter and Caine's romance. "Your majesty, I have more in common with dogs than I have with you," he tells her. She replies straightforwardly, "I love dogs, I've always loved dogs." The trailer is also packed with impressive visual effects including a look at a flying humanoid lizard that carries Caine up in the air by its tail.

"Jupiter Ascending" was pushed back from this summer's release to give the filmmakers time to complete the extensive VFX. Directed and written by Andy and Lana Wachowski, it will now hit U.S. theaters February 6, 2015.
